Lakers Lose to Wayne County 2-1

The Laker boys soccer team traveled to Wayne County on Tuesday.

Wayne scored early in the game, but the Lakers fought back and managed to even up the score in the 37th minute with Sebastian Betts-Jimenez crossing the ball to Kelvin Cordova.

Ultimately, the Cardinals scored again late in the 2nd half to seal the victory, but the boys gave it their all.

In the JV match, the Lakers found victory 1-0, scoring off a corner kick from David Moreno finding Kevin Gomez on the back post.
