The Russell County Lady Lakers swept McCreary County on their home field in varsity and junior varsity soccer action Tuesday evening.
In the varsity match, Russell County earned a six-to-one victory behind five goals from Addison Coffey. Madison Bennet added one goal, while Bella Blakey recorded five saves and Madeline Campbell had two.
The Lady Laker junior varsity squad shut out McCreary County two-to-nothing. Kenzie Bennett scored both goals, Ava McFarland contributed an assist and Andrea Hernandez made five saves.
The Lady Lakers return home Thursday to face Warren Central, with the first match beginning at 5:30 at the First National Bank Athletic Complex.
