The Adair County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop during the early hours of Saturday resulted in the arrest of a Columbia woman.
Forty-six-year-old Francesca Camacho was charged with careless driving, having no registration plates, driving without an operator’s license, insurance-related violations and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Camacho also faces charges of first-degree trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree promoting contraband.
The arrest was made by Deputy Hunter Tweedy, with assistance from Deputy Nick Barber.
Camacho was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
