A Clinton County man is in jail after leading law enforcement officers on a foot pursuit Monday afternoon.
According to Clinton County Sheriff Ricky Marcum, he and other officers attempted to arrest 22-year-old Jeremy Albertson at approximately 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wood and Second Streets in Albany on a parole violation warrant.
Sheriff Marcum said Albertson fled on foot, leading officers on a pursuit that lasted about 30 minutes. The chase ended when Albertson was located and taken into custody in a wooded area just off First Street.
In addition to the outstanding parole violation warrant, Albertson was charged with fleeing or evading police.
