The Russell County Sheriff’s Department reports two people were arrested just before dawn Saturday at a residence on Middle Ridge Road in the Jabez community.
According to Sheriff Derek Polston, deputies Stone Bolin and Devin Blakey arrested 36-year-old David Carroll of Jabez on a Russell County Circuit Court indictment charging him with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Also arrested was 26-year-old Alyssa Fields of Russell Springs, who is charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Carroll and Fields were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
