Anna Belle West, 99, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at her residence.
Born on September 20, 1926, in Anderson, Indiana, Anna Belle was a daughter of the late Van Austin Scott and Cora Ethel (Owens) Scott. Anna Belle was a homemaker, and she loved cooking for her family and capturing moments of her life with photographs. She was a member of Dunnville Church of God and enjoyed attending whenever she was able. Anna Belle will be dearly missed by those that called her Mom, Nana, Sister, and Friend.
Anna Belle is survived by her sons, Steve West, of Jamestown, and Mark West, of Columbia; her daughter, Beth (and Billy) Collins, of Columbia; her brother, Kenneth Scott, of Chesterfield, Indiana; her sister, Phyllis Hagerman, of Arroyo Grande, California; her grandchildren, Joshua (and Lori) Collins, of Columbia, and Matthew (and Tierney) Collins, of Georgetown; and great grandchildren, Owen Collins, Zeke Collins, Ellyott Collins, Bexley Collins, Carsyn Collins, and Wyatt Collins.
In addition to her parents, Anna Belle was preceded in death by her husband, Arlo Emmit West; and her sister Mildred Hall.
Funeral services are at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
