Four Russell County students named national semifinalists in Educators Rising competitions

Four Russell County students were named national semifinalists in the Educators Rising National competition in Portland.

Marlee McGowan was a semifinalist in Job Interview and Avery Larison was a semifinalist in Exploring Education Administration Careers.

Emma Wilson was a semifinalist in Exploring Non-Core Subject Teaching Careers and Shelby Curtis was a semifinalist in Public Speaking.

By being a semifinalist, these students finished in the top 10 of their respective competitions and were the only students from Kentucky to finish in the top 10 of these competitions.
