RC Fiscal Court receives state funds for recycling equipment

The Russell County Fiscal Court is set to receive a little over $13,000 in state funds to be used to purchase recycling equipment.

Russell County was one of 36 recycling applications from across the commonwealth to be approved for state funding from the Division of Waste Management. The funding comes from state dollars approved through the Kentucky Pride Fund.

In total, about $4.4 million was approved for those 36 projects.
