Today is the last day of excused voting at the Russell County Courthouse.
This is for voters who have a valid excuse for not being able to vote on Election Day or during the no-excuse early voting. Those who wish to vote during this period will be required to fill out a form explaining their reason. Voting will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
This includes voters who will be absent from the county during the early voting period and Election Day, as well as other factors such as age, disability, or illness.
Early voting at the South Kentucky RECC gets underway tomorrow. This is open to any registered voter in Russell County in any precinct and will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Voting at the South Kentucky RECC Community Room will take place tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday.
