A personal care home for adults in neighboring Wayne County is under investigation.
The allegations against Dishman Personal Care Home include alleged resident abuse, permitting inappropriate behavior among residents, and unacceptable living conditions.
A complaint filed against the facility alleged that residents were drinking hand sanitizer, hurting each other, and having inappropriate sexual relationships that were known by staff members.
An order was issued last week that prevents the facility from accepting any new patients.
