The Russell County High School Site-Based Decision-Making Council will meet in special session this morning.
The council will meet at 9 a.m. in the high school library media center as part of the ongoing search for the school’s next principal.
The council is expected to review feedback from the principal selection survey and discuss interview questions.
The council is also expected to go into executive session to review candidate applications, as well as potentially schedule interview dates and times with prospective candidates.
The school is looking for its next principal, as Shanna Tarter, who has served as principal since 2021, is set to retire at the end of the school year.
