A Hustonville woman is facing multiple charges following an arrest in Liberty.
According to authorities, 23-year-old Alexis Atwood was taken into custody yesterday by Liberty Police Officer Jamie Smallwood. The incident occurred at Casey County Hospital.
Atwood is charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct, and assault in the third degree of a healthcare provider — a felony. According to the arrest citation, the assault charge stems from Atwood allegedly kicking a nurse several times.
She was lodged in the Casey County Detention Center.
