A Hazard man was arrested locally on drug and weapon charges over the weekend.
27-year-old Dylan Smith was arrested and charged with possession of a defaced firearm, illegal possession of a legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and fishing without a license or permit.
Smith was arrested by Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center a little before 3:30 yesterday afternoon.
