Those who wish to vote in the upcoming primary election but aren’t registered to vote have only one month left to do so.
The deadline to register to vote in order to be eligible for the May primary election is April 20 at 4 p.m.
Voter registration is available in-person at the Russell County Clerk’s Office or via the state’s online portal.
This year’s primary election in Russell County includes local offices on the ballot, such as judge-executive, sheriff, magistrates, and constables.
