Read Across Russell County is today.
The annual event draws hundreds of people to the Russell County Public Library for book giveaways, door prizes, Read with A Laker, and more.
In years past, the event has drawn more than 400 people to the library.
Read Across Russell County is free to Russell County students and their parents/guardians and is organized by the Russell County Public Library and the Russell County Education Association.
Read Across Russell County will take place today at the library from 4-6 p.m.
