The Russell County Board of Education will meet in special session at 8:00 this morning with the gym floor at Salem Elementary being the primary topic.
Last week on local news, we reported a recent water issue at Salem Elementary has caused notable damage to the gymnasium floor at Salem Elementary. The school board will look to replace the gym floor due to the damage.
Other agenda items include discussion about furniture at the SEED Academy and tennis court access crossings.
The meeting will take place in Room 114 of the Russell County ANC. The meeting is open to the public. We’ll have more details from the meeting later today on local news.
