The Russell County Board of Education will meet in special session tomorrow morning with a few items on the agenda.
The main topic will be the gymnasium floor at Salem Elementary. Last week on local news, we reported a recent water issue at Salem Elementary has caused notable damage to the gymnasium floor at Salem Elementary. The damage was extensive enough that the school district needs to replace the floor, according to Superintendent Michael Ford.
Tomorrow’s meeting will also include discussion about furniture at the SEED Academy and tennis court access crossings.
The board will meet at 8:00 tomorrow morning in Room 114 of the Russell County ANC. The board meeting is open to the public.
