A Monticello woman was arrested early this morning after allegedly attempting to flee from a traffic stop.
Russell Springs Police arrested 18-year-old Heymmy Velasquez and charged her with fleeing or evading police first degree, speeding 13 mph over the limit, no operators license, and failure to or improper signal.
Velasquez was arrested by Officer Kendall Catron with the Russell Springs Police Department and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 1:00 this morning.
