Russell County Judge-Executive Gary Robertson announced on Wednesday evening that Russell County has three additional positive cases of COVID-19. Two are in self-isolation and one of the new cases is being hospitalized.
This now brings Russell County to a total of eleven cases with three being released from self-isolation Tuesday evening. Eight of the eleven total cases are active with three hospitalized and five on home self-isolation.
WJRS also learned Wednesday
evening that Adair County now has its third COVID-19 related death. The death
was a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home.
No
new cases were reported in Adair. The county has 46 total cases, with 40 of
those active. Thirty-three are on home or Summit Manor Nursing Home isolation
and seven are currently hospitalized.
