Russell County students will return to the classroom for the first time in two weeks today.
In-person classes have been cancelled since Winter Storm Fern caused hazardous road conditions across the county.
Russell County Schools used the remainder of its 10 non-traditional instruction, or NTI, days due to the road conditions. The days Russell County utilized NTI do not have to be added back into the calendar.
