One More Confirmed COVID-19 Case in Russell

Russell County is now up to seven confirmed cases of COVID-19, Judge-Executive Gary Robertson announced over the weekend. As of last evening that number does remain at seven. A breakdown of cases in the Lake Cumberland Area, there have been 102 total number of confirmed cases. Active cases by county are

  • Russell with seven, one is hospitalized and six self-isolated
  • Adair 40, eight hospitalized, 32 self-isolated, most of the cases are coming from Summit-Manor Nursing Home.
  • Clinton has two with both in self-isolation
  • Cumberland has one with that case self-isolated
  • Green County has no active cases at the present time
  • McCreary has four with all in self-isolation
  • Taylor with one that is self-isolated
  • Wayne has two with both in self-isolation

There have been a total number of three deaths in the region due to the Coronavirus with two in Pulaski and one in Adair. A total of 31 people have been released from self-isolation here in the Lake Cumberland Area.
