The National Weather Service has issued an advisory and warning for the cold temperatures in the area.
The weather service issued a cold weather advisory, which remains in effect until 6:00 this evening.
Then, the weather service issued an extreme cold warning, which goes into effect at 6:00 this evening and remains in effect until 10:00 tomorrow morning.
The weather service said with the cold weather advisory, wind chill temperatures could fall to 10 degrees below zero.
For the extreme cold warning, the weather service said temperatures could range from 10 below to 20 below.
