The Russell County Middle School 8th grade Laker Basketball team won its conference championship over the weekend.
Riggs Richardson, Raylan McAninch and Colton Whitaker were named to the All-Conference team. Whitaker was named Tournament MVP.
The 7th grade and 6th grade teams finished as runner-up in their respective conference tournaments.
