The Laker Basketball team lost a pair of close games over the weekend in the Berea Holiday Classic.
The Lakers fell to the Boyle County Rebels by a score of 69-67 on Saturday.
Maddox Shearer scored a team-high 24 points in the game. Noah McMillin scored 17 and Dylan Stanelle added 12.
The Lakers fell in another close one Sunday to Morgan County by a score of 85-82.
Shearer scored a game-high 34 points. Stanelle added 22 and McMillin scored 20.
The Lakers are off this week. They’ll return to action next Monday, taking on Newport Central Catholic in the East Jessamine Holiday Basketball Classic.
