A Russell Springs man was arrested following a two-vehicle collision on West Highway 80 yesterday afternoon.
Russell Springs Police say 25-year-old Raymundo Lopez Gomez was arrested and charged with driving without a license following the collision.
Police say the collision happened just before 4:30 near the intersection of West 80 and Rose Street. Gomez’s vehicle reportedly struck the back end of a 2014 Buick Encore operated by 33-year-old Marisa Stephens of Russell Springs.
No injuries were reported from the collision. Police say Gomez was transported to Russell County Hospital as a precautionary measure before being transported to the Russell County Detention Center.
The Russell Springs Fire Department assisted at the scene.
