School board to meet in special session this morning

The Russell County Board of Education will meet in special session this morning.

The school board will meet at 8:00 this morning in Room 114 of the Russell County ANC.

The board will hold the first reading of the 2026-2027 school calendar and review the end-of-year state assessment results.

School board meetings are open to the public.
