Russell County High School earned a yellow rating on last year’s state assessment, which is the middle rating given by the state for accountability.
Russell County High School Principal Shanna Tarter was recently a guest on Community Conversation on WJRS. She said while the school is constantly looking for ways to improve test scores, school leaders are also really proud of the results from the school climate survey.
Tarter shared a few of those results and spoke about the importance of building relationships at the high school.
