In December 1825, Russell County was founded from portions of Adair, Cumberland and Wayne counties.
As Russell County celebrates its 200th birthday this year, Russell County Judge Executive Randy Marcum said judge executives from those three counties will be recognized at this weekend’s Christmas on the Square in Jamestown.
The recognition will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday at the courthouse.
