The Laker Football team lost a heartbreaker last night, falling 42-41 to the visiting Monroe County Falcons on Senior Night.
The Lakers led most of the game, but Monroe County scored a touchdown and converted the extra point with just 1.6 seconds remaining on the clock to give them their first lead of the game and the win.
The Lakers wrap up the regular season with a record of 3-7.
The Lakers now prepare for the postseason, as they’ll travel to Corbin next Friday for a matchup with the Redhounds.
