The Laker Golf team got its season underway in Glasgow this week, playing in the Barren County Invitational on Monday.
The Lakers finished the day with a team score of 323. Noah McMillin led Russell County with a score of 75 on the day, followed by Daylon Blevins with an 80, Gabe Browning with an 81, Josiah Dudgeon with an 87 and Landon Bryant with a 95.
Brody Terry led the B team with an 89, followed by Riggs Richardson with a 95, Gavin Campbell with a 96, Grant Wilson with a 98, and Grider Selby rounding out scoring with a 102 on the day. The Laker B team finished with a total score of 378.
On Day 2, the Lakers competed in the Glasgow Scottie Invitational. McMillin finished second individually with a score of 71 and the Lakers tied for third overall with a team score of 311.
Blevins shot a 77 on the day, followed by Browning with a 78. Bryant shot an 85, and Dudgeon rounded out the scoring for the Lakers with an 88.
