It’s been about a month and a half since the county took over operation of the transfer station.
Russell County Judge Executive Randy Marcum told WJRS News the county’s operation of the transfer station is going well and he believes it was the right move for the county.
The transfer station was formerly operated by Morgan’s Sanitation.
