The Russell Springs City Council met last night, with Mayor Eddie Thomas reporting to the council that each of the city’s departments came in under budget for the fiscal year that ended June 30.
The city reported a carryover of around $1.27 million in the general fund, around $877,000 in the utility fund, and about $120,000 in the ABC fund.
The city also presented First National Bank of Russell Springs CEO Charlene Harris with the city’s Anchor Award.
