A Campbellsville woman was flown out following a single-vehicle wreck yesterday evening on West Highway 80.
The wreck occurred at around 7 o’clock yesterday evening near the intersection with Loveless Road.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office said 41-year-old Margarita Hernandez of Campbellsville was operating a Dodge Durango eastbound when her vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment.
Hernandez was flown out due to injuries sustained in the accident. A passenger in her vehicle was taken to Russell County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Russell Springs Police Department, Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department, and Russell County EMS assisted at the scene.
