Phyllis Jasper Rzeszowski was born July 22, 1942, in Russell Springs, KY to the late Hollis and Irene Jasper as the oldest of five girls, and she was a graduate of Adair County High School in 1959. Phyllis’s Secretary work at both Jaggers Reality and Coering Automasters led her to starting the National Secretaries Association of Bowling Green, and this eventually led to her position as Executive Secretary to Dr. Robert Mounce– the Dean of Potter College at Western Kentucky University. Phyllis studied Religious Studies and English at Western Kentucky University, and she continued her studies in Theology at Campbellsville University.
Phyllis’s talents were many. She was an accomplished writer, bible teacher, community volunteer, and homemaker. She cherished being a wife, mother, grandma, and friend, but above all else, her highest devotion was to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Phyllis leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband Gerald; her children Melissa, Melanie, and Adam; her grandchildren Zac, Molly, Samantha (Devin), Josie (Preston), and Chloe; her great grandchildren Janey and Johnston; her sisters Carolyn, Jeanie, and Becky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
