School Transportation Director discusses fuel costs for buses

Russell County Schools Transportation Director Eric Wolford was on Community Conversations on WJRS this week, discussing the costs associated with transportation.

Wolford said one of the biggest expenses is fuel for the school buses.

Wolford said Russell County buses drive more than 2,600 miles per day combined just for student pickup and drop-off, not including field trips or extracurricular activities.
