A Jamestown man was found guilty of charges including arson and criminal mischief this morning.
The trial of 65-year-old Nathan McClure of Jamestown on charges of arson – third degree and criminal mischief concluded this morning with final arguments and the jury returning a guilty verdict on those charges following a three-day trial
The charges stem from an incident in 2022 in which prosecutors say McClure set a fire near a building in the Eli community, damaging property.
Both charges against McClure are Class D felonies, punishable by a sentence of 1-5 years according to Kentucky law.
He will face formal sentencing on December 17.
