The Russell Springs City Park is closed, as city workers are preparing for Lights at the Park, which will open up on November 30.
Lights at the Park has been a big attraction the last two years. Last year, city officials said nearly 8,500 cars drove through the park to view the light displays.
Mayor Thomas said the city has added five or six new scenes to this year’s light display.
