County Clerk’s Office closed today for statewide election audit

The Russell County Clerk’s Office will be closed today for a statewide election audit.

This is a new initiative from the Secretary of State’s Office aimed at ensuring election integrity where votes from a randomly selected voting machine will be audited.

This is happening statewide in each county.

The clerk’s office will return to normal operating hours tomorrow.
