Kay Stephens, age 74, of Russell Springs, passed away at 8:50 PM, Friday, November 1st, while in the company of family at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Kay was born in Russell Springs on January 2, 1950, a daughter of Alberta (Foley) Thomas and the late Donald ThomasShe was a member of Bernard Ridge Church of God and a homemaker.
Kay is survived by.
Her husband, Hollis (Cee) Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY.
Her mother, Alberta (Foley) Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY.
A daughter, Pam, wife of Randy Stephens-Stargle, of Russell Springs, KY.
Two sons Danny, husband of Lori Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY; and Torry Ryder, of Russell Springs, KY.
Seven sisters survive including Donetta Stephens, of Jamestown; Teresa Coffey, of Anderson, Indiana; Joyce Wheat, of Russell Springs; Rhonda Marples, of Vero Beach, Florida; Mickey Pennington, of Jamestown; Kara Marples, of Liberty, KY; and Kerri Barnes, of Russell Springs.
Two brothers, Randy Thomas, of Jamestown and Scott Thomas of Russell Springs.
She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her father, two brothers, Larry Joe Thomas and Donald Leon Thomas. and two sisters, Celia Dale Thomas and Linda Sue Thomas.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM CT on Tuesday, November 5th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Eric Richardson and Bro. Johnny Mark Dunbar officiating.
Friends may visit after 4:30 PM CT on Monday, November 4th and after 8:00 AM CT on Tuesday, November 5th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY.
