Early voting continues today at the Russell County Courthouse.
Voters can cast their ballots for this year’s general election from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the upstairs courtroom.
There was a strong turnout for early voting yesterday at the courthouse. Some lines formed early, but most people reported being in and out in 10-15 minutes.
Russell County Clerk Patti Glover said she encourages anyone who can to vote early with a high turnout expected for this year’s election.
Glover also reminds voters that they need to bring a photo ID with them to the polls, whether they are voting early or on Election Day.
Early voting will also be available tomorrow at the courthouse.
