Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston is reminding Russell County property tax payers the deadline to receive a discount on taxes is coming up.
Those who pay their property taxes by tomorrow will receive a two-percent discount.
Those paying by mail must have the payment postmarked by November 1.
After that, property taxes will be face value.
Taxes can be paid at the Russell County Sheriff’s Office in-person, over the phone, or by mail.
Anyone with questions about their tax bill can call the sheriff’s office at 270-343-2191.
