Russell County Hospital CEO Scott Thompson said the hospital’s expansion project is moving along, as the hospital’s board and leadership are in discussion about the designs of the expansion and renovation.
Thompson said the plan is for the project to cost an estimated $30 million, but two-thirds of that would be covered by funds provided by the state legislature and tax credits the hospital is working on.
