Two brothers from Adair County are now facing federal drug charges for their alleged role in a multi-county drug trafficking operation.
The two brothers, 37-year-old Frederick L. Ennis and 35-year-old Diontae M. Ennis, were arrested last month in Pulaski County for trafficking in methamphetamine.
Now, the two have been charged in U.S. District Court on charges of conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture containing methamphetamine, distribution of 500 grams or more of a mixture containing methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture containing methamphetamine.
If found guilty, both men would be facing sentences between 10 years and life in prison.
At the time of the arrest, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said the two men were trafficking methamphetamine in Pulaski County and other counties in southern Kentucky.
