The Highway 127 project between Russell and Clinton County has been in the works for several years, and while much progress has been made, the project has reportedly hit a bump in the road, as contractors have run into issues with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Russell County Judge Executive Randy Marcum spoke to WJRS about the issue the project is facing.
As of now, the goal is for the project to be completed in the fall of 2026.
