The Lady Laker Volleyball team was at home in a district matchup with Monroe County. The Lady Lakers swept the Lady Falcons with freshman, JV, and varsity teams all picking up victories. The varsity team won 3-1 over the Lady Falcons, their second victory over Monroe County this season.
The Lady Lakers are slated to play in a tournament at Rockcastle County this weekend.
The Laker Soccer team went on the road for a district matchup with Clinton County, coming away with an 8-0 victory.
Taven Foley scored three goals for the Lakers, Mynor Chic scored two, and Xavi Medrano, Andre Perez, and Connor Holmes each finished with a goal.
Will Pratt led the Lakers with 3 assists and Xavion Russell had 4 saves in the shutout win.

In middle school basketball action, the Lady Laker Basketball team went on the road to Wayne County yesterday, winning 1 of 3 games.
The 7th grade team came out on top by a score of 29-15. 6th grade fell by a score of 19-16 and 8th grade came up short against the Lady Cardinals by a score of 39-26.
The Lady Lakers are back at home tonight, hosting Adair County beginning at 5 p.m.
