Laker Golf finishes 2nd at Burnside tournament; McMillin finishes at top individually

The Laker Golf team finished in a tie for 2nd place at a tournament at Burnside Island State Park yesterday, with Russell County’s Noah McMillin finishing first individually.

McMillin shot a 71 on the day to lead Russell County, followed by Daylon Blevins and Gabe Browning who each finished the day with an 80. Kole Rixon shot an 86, and Ayden Goch finished with an 87.

The Lakers also took a second team to Burnside.

Josiah Dudgeon led that group with an 87, followed by Gavin Campbell with a 91, Landon Bryant with a 93, Parker Johnson with a 94, and Cayden Loveless with a 129.

The Lakers will be in action at Lakewood Country Club on Friday.
