Two Russell County road projects are included in Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s recommended highway plan.
The two Russell County projects include a bridge project on Highway 379 at Crocus Creek along with a parkway project, from mile marker 57 to mile marker 62.
The Crocus Creek project has an estimated cost listed at around $58,000 and the parkway project has an estimated cost of around $4 million.
The six-year proposal is described as a “practical action guide to prioritize road and bridge maintenance projects, as well as new construction in the biennium and following four years.” This is a proposal by the Governor’s Office and is not finalized.
