The Russell County Laker Basketball team wrapped up its trip to the Smoky Mountain Christmas Classic with a loss to Ingomar High School from Mississippi by a score of 77-70.
Maddox Shearer led the Lakers with 19 points, knocking down 5 of 8 three-pointers.
Braydon Cerrato finished with 12 points and Dylan Stanelle and Owen Loy each added 11.
Mayes Gosser finished with a team-high 7 rebounds.
The Lakers finished 1-2 at the tournament and will be back in action tomorrow at Wayne County for a matchup against McCreary Central in the Monticello Bank Classic.
Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.
