The Russell County High School Cheer team won both the Large Coed and Game Day Divisions at the Smoky Mountain Regional over the weekend.
The victories secure a spot for the Lakers in the National High School Cheerleading Championships in Orlando.
The Laker cheer team will also compete in the KHSAA state cheerleading championships this Friday and Saturday in Winchester.
