The Russell County Sheriff’s Office released its monthly report for the month of February.
The sheriff’s office responded to 345 calls for service, performed 24 arrests, and made 13 mental health transports.
The sheriff’s office also served 51 court papers, drove 1,080 court security transport miles, performed 10 criminal summons, 56 vehicle inspections, and 19 concealed carry of deadly weapons permits.
February tax collections totaled $197,329.
The sheriff’s office reminds everyone that taxes are in the 21 percent penalty phase from Feb. 1 to April 15.
